- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 1/4 c. milk
- 2 cubes fresh yeast
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Directions

1Scald milk; add margarine and sugar and stir to blend.

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Pour mixture over yeast in mixing bowl; stir.

4Add beaten eggs.

5Add flour and salt and mix thoroughly.

6Turn out on baking board and divide into 20 pieces.

7Shape each piece into smooth roll and place on baking sheet.

8Let rise about 30 minutes. Brush with egg and sprinkle with poppy seed.

9Bake 10 minutes at 450° or until golden brown.
