  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

    Combine sugar, cornstarch, butter, water and vinegar. Cook over hot water until smooth and thick; season to taste. Add beets. Heat thoroughly.
