- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 12 small beets
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix in a sauce pan sugar, cornstarch, water and vinegar. Boil 5 minutes.

2Add beets and let stand at least 30 minutes or more.

3Just before serving bring to boiling point and add 2 Tbsp. butter.
