- 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can sliced beets
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Drain beets, reserving 1/4 cup liquid.

2In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.

3Stir in reserved beet liquid, the vinegar and butter.

4Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.

5Stir in beets.

6Cook until heated through. Makes 2 servings.
