  • 3 c. sliced beets
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. beet juice
  • 2 tsp. butter

Directions

    Heat beet juice, sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and butter together until boiling, stirring constantly. Add beets to hot mixture. A bit of cinnamon is good (optional).
