- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 c. cooked or canned beets
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch in large heavy saucepan. Add vinegar and water, blending until smooth.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce comes to boiling.

3Cook and stir for 2 minutes longer.

4Remove from heat.

5Add beets and toss well.

6Let stand for 30 minutes.

7Reheat before serving.
