  • 1 (No. 2) can beets (whole or sliced)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

    Mix sugar, vinegar, salt and cornstarch together.
