- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 c. cooked beets
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.

2Stir in vinegar and water and boil 5 minutes.

3Add beets, sliced or diced, to hot mixture and allow to stand for 30 minutes.

4Just before serving, bring to a boil and add butter.
