  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • black pepper
  • ground allspice
  • 1 (16 ounce) cansliced beets, drained, liquid reserved
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

Directions

    Combine cornstarch, salt, orange peel, pepper and allspice in 1 quart casserole dish.

    Blend in reserved 1/3 cup beet juice, vinegar and orange juice.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated.
