- 2 c. cooked, sliced beets or 1 can beets
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. beet liquid
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour, liquid and vinegar.

2Cook, stirring, on medium heat until thick, about 10 minutes.

3Add salt, butter or margarine and then beets.

4Cover and heat.

5Serve.
