- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Cook beets.

2Mix sugar and cornstarch.

3Add vinegar and water and boil 5 minutes.

4Add beets and let stand over low heat 30 minutes.

5Just before serving, bring to boiling point and add butter.
