- 2 sticks butter
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1/2 diced onion
- 2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
- 1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns or 8 potatoes, peeled and boiled until tender
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 Tbsp. pepper
- 2 c. cornflake crumbs
Directions

1Thaw potatoes; put in buttered dish.

2Sprinkle with salt and pepper; dot with 1 stick butter.

3Mix soup, sour cream, cheese and onion in separate bowl; pour mixture over potatoes.

4Mix cornflakes and melted butter; sprinkle over mixture.

5Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
