  • 2 pkg. (12 oz.) frozen hash browns
  • 2 c. dairy sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 lb. German sausage, cooked and cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 to 3 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • 2 c. shredded cheese
  • 2 c. corn flakes, mixed with 1/4 c. melted margarine

    Thaw potatoes in colander and drain excess water.

    Melt margarine in 2 quart casserole (9 x 13-inch pan).

    Add soup, sour cream, salt, onions, cheese and sausage.

    Mix well.

    Add potatoes. Sprinkle with buttered corn flakes and bake at 350° about 50 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
