  • 1 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 pt. (8 oz.) sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tube Ritz or Town House crackers

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except butter and crackers.

    Spread in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.

    Melt butter, crush one tube of crackers, and combine.

    Spread over potato mixture and bake 1 hour at 350°.
