- 1 (3 lb.) pkg. frozen shredded hash browns
- 18 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. diced onions
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 large carton sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 stick melted butter or oleo
- crushed potato chips
Directions

1Mix butter or oleo through the other ingredients, except cheese and chips.

2Put 1/2 of cheese over dish of potatoes.

3Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

4Take out of oven; sprinkle crushed potato chips and rest of shredded cheese.

5Put back in oven for 15 minutes.

6Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
