- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped fine
- 1/2 c. oleo or butter
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together and put in buttered casserole or 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

3May be topped with crushed potato chips and baked another 5 to 10 minutes.
