1Melt butter in a one cup measure in microwave.

2Heat non stick skillet over medium high heat.

3Shred potatoes on hand held grater.

4Squeeze out liquid from potatoes.

5Add some butter to skillet and add shredded potatoes and press down with spatula.

6Season with salt and pepper and drizzle potatoes with more butter.

7Cook until golden brown and then flip.

8Finish cooking in hot oven for 15 minutes.
