  • 2 lbs frozen hash browns
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 12 cups chopped onions
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 12 teaspoon celery seed
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 quart milk
  • 2 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

    In soup pot, mix first 7 ingredients; bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Add soup and milk; stir until smooth.

    Add ham, parsley, and garlic salt.

    Simmer for 15 minutes.
