- 1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. fat free chicken broth
- 3/4 c. long grain brown rice
- 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. canned crushed pineapple (packed in juice), drained
- 1 Tbsp. honey
Directions

1In medium saucepan bring 1 1/2 cups broth to boil over high heat.

2Add rice.

3Cover and reduce heat to a low setting.

4Let rice bubble gently.

5Cook for 50 minutes and add green pepper and celery, then stir in green onion until hot.

6Then place in serving bowls and serve.
