Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1 (18 oz.) can yams sliced in juice
  • 1 (12 oz.) can sausage links (small) slashed at intervals
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine

Directions

    Drain pineapple but save juice in another bowl.

    If necessary add water to juice to equal 1 1/2 c. Arrange pineapple chunks, yams and sausage in 10x 16 baking dish.

    In saucepan combine brown sugar, corn starch and salt.

    Gradually blend in pineapple juice mixture.

    Cook and stir until thick then add margarine.

    Pour over sausage, - etc. in casserole dish.

    Cover and bake 35 - 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
