Hazelnut Plum Muffins

  • 90 grams butter melted
  • 2 1/2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup ground hazelnuts
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 1 egg beaten lightly
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plum jam

Directions

    Combine butter, flour, ground hazelnuts, sugar, egg and milk in large bowl.

    Spoon half of the muffin mixture into the greased 12-hole muffin pan.

    Make a well in each muffin, spoon in rounded teaspoons of jam, top with remaining muffin mixture.

    Bake in the oven at 180 C for about 20 minutes, or until done.
