Ingredients
- Crust
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup hazelnuts (about 5 ounces), toasted, husked
Directions

1Lightly oil baking sheet.

2Combine sugar and 1/4 cup water in heavy medium saucepan.

3Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.

4Increase heat and boil without stirring until syrup turns golden, occasionally brushing down sides of pan with wet pastry brush and swirling pan, about 8 minutes.

5Add hazelnuts and stir until well coated, about 1 minute.

6Carefully pour hot praline onto prepared baking sheet.

7Cool until praline hardens.

8Break praline into pieces.

9Transfer to resealable plastic bag.

10Using rolling pin or mallet, coarsely crush praline.

12Store airtight and freeze.)
