Ingredients
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. All-Bran or Bran Flakes
- 1 c. whole wheat flour or graham flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour milk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Simmer raisins in the hot water for 5 minutes; cool.

3Mix dry ingredients, then add the sour milk, which has been mixed with soda and molasses.

4Add the egg, nuts and cooked raisins with their water and stir until blended.

5Bake in greased loaf pans at 350° or until set.
