Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef, chicken or turkey
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 c. canned, diced tomatoes
  • 3 c. canned red kidney beans (black or white beans can be substituted for part of the red kidney beans)
  • 1/3 c. salsa
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder

Directions

    Brown meat.

    Pour off any fat and saute onion and garlic with the meat.

    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1

    hour.
