- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 750 grams Beef Mince/Ground Beef (regular, Lean Or Extra Lean)
- 2 Small Onions
- 1 can Chopped Tomatoes (400g Can)
- 1 can Boiling Water (400g Can)
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
- 1/2 cups Wheat Bran
- 1/2 cups Porridge Oats
- 4 leaves Bay Leaves
- 3 sprigs Thyme
- 1 teaspoon Marjoram
- 2 Courgettes (zucchini)
- 5 Medium Carrots
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
Directions

1I make this spicy beef in a slow cooker.

2Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat.

3Then add the beef and cook until browned.

4Peel and slice the onions and add them into the pot.

5Transfer the mixture into your slow cooker crock.

6Add the chopped tomatoes and the boiling water.

7Add the tomato paste, wheat bran, porridge oats, bay leaves, thyme and marjoram.

8Grate the courgettes and add into the pot.

9Peel and grate the carrots and add them into the pot.

10Add the paprika, chili powder and cayenne pepper.

11Stir well, put the lid on and cook for 6 hours on the low setting.
