Ingredients
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 2 c. diced raw potatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Arrange onion, potatoes, kidney beans, uncooked rice and celery in layers in order listed in a covered casserole sprayed with Pam.

2Preheat oven to 325°.

3Mix spices and tomato sauce well and pour over stew layers in casserole.

4Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours or until potatoes are tender.

5Do not stir; but check occasionally to be sure it does not boil dry.

6Makes 4 servings.
