- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 1/4 oz.) jar caramel topping
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
- 3 (1.4 oz.) original style Heath bars, crushed
Directions

1Prepare cake mix as directed on box and bake in 9 x 13-inch pan.

2While cake is still hot, poke holes in cake at about 1-inch intervals using handle of wooden spoon.

3Slowly pour milk into holes.

4Pour caramel topping into holes.

5Cover with aluminum foil, being careful that it does not touch cake.

6Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

7Frost with Cool Whip and sprinkle with crushed Heath bars.

8Cake is very rich.

9Cut and serve.
