- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz.) jar caramel ice cream topping
- 1 (9 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 6 to 8 Heath bars, crushed or Bits 'O Brickle
Directions

1Prepare cake mix according to package directions.

2Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

3Bake according to package directions.

4Remove from oven and immediately poke 35 to 40 holes in cake with handle of a wooden spoon.

5Pour on condensed milk and spread evenly.

6Pour on caramel topping and spread evenly. Chill in refrigerator overnight.

7Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with crushed candy bars the next day.
