- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 lb. chocolate disks
Directions

1Cook butter and brown sugar over low heat slowly until it comes to a full boil.

2Stir constantly with wooden spoon.

3Boil and stir until thermometer reaches 290° (hard crack).

4Add nuts. Pour onto well-oiled 9 x 13-inch pan.

5While warm, place 1/2 of disks on candy.

6As it melts, spread with spatula.

7Then refrigerate for about 10 minutes until chocolate hardens.

8Take from refrigerator and carefully flip over and cover other side with the rest of the disks (melted).

9Spread 1/2 cup chopped nuts on top.
