   Bake cake according to directions.

   When done, take a fork and prick top.

   Combine sugar and pineapple.

   Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.

   Spread on top of cake.

   Fix instant pudding and spread on top.

   Slice bananas and place on top of pudding.

   Then spread on Cool Whip.

   Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
