Ingredients

  • 1 packages Wide noodles.
  • 500 grams Beef - sliced to a very small cubes.
  • 1 large onion - finely chopped.
  • 2 Carrots - sliced to a thin strips.
  • 2 Beets - sliced to a thin strips.
  • 1/2 cup Tomatoe paste - mixed with 1/2 cup hot water.
  • 1 Tomato - sliced to small cubes.
  • 1 Red bell pepper - sliced to a thin strips.
  • 1 cup Fresh Dill , cilantro,parsley - finely chopped.
  • 5 clove Garlic - finely chopped.
  • 2 1/2 cup Hot water.
  • 1 tsp Paprika.
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder.
  • 1 Salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 Oil.

Directions

    The noodles : Boil water in a large pan and add 1 tsp of salt and dash of oil.

    Cook the noodles till soft and drain the water.

    Add dash of oil to the cooked noodles and mix.

    The Lagman : Preheat large frying pan and add a dash of oil.

    Add the beef and fry till no liquid in the pan.

    Add the onion and keep frying for another 5-7 min , then add the paprika, cumin , salt and pepper.

    Add the carrots,bell pepper and the beets , mix and cover the pan for 15 min.

    Open the pan and add the tomatoes , mix for 5-7 min.

    Add the tomato paste and 2 1/2 cup of the hot water.

    Cover the pan for 15 min , open and add the garlic ,dill , cilantro and the parsley and cook for another 5 min.

    Serve the noodles with a generous amount of the Lagman.
