Ingredients
- 2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. soft butter
- 1/2 c. + 1 Tbsp. grated Romano cheese
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. oregano
- 4 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Combine first five ingredients in a warm bowl and stir until butter is melted and all ingredients are well mixed.

2Stir in cheese.

3Add 3 cups flour and mix well.

4Beat in remaining 1 1/4 cups flour.

5Cover bowl with damp towel and let rise 45 minutes or until batter doubles in size.

6Stir down; beat 1/2 minute or 25 strokes.

7Turn into buttered casserole dish (1 1/2 to 2-quart). Sprinkle top with grated Romano cheese.

8Bake at 375° for 55 minutes.

9Serve warm with pasta dishes.
