- 1 1/4 lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 tsp. minced fresh chives
- 1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Steam asparagus until tender.

2Keep warm.

3In a small skillet, melt butter and saute garlic over medium heat.

4Remove garlic. Stir in chives, parsley, lemon juice and salt, heat thoroughly. Place asparagus in serving dish and pour sauce over.

5Serve immediately.
