- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash pepper
- 5 firm tomatoes (peeled if hard)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
Directions

1In deep skillet, melt butter, add sugar, salt and pepper. Add tomatoes, cored side down.

2Cover, cook gently 5 minutes. Carefully turn tomatoes.

3Add last four ingredients to sauce. Cook uncovered 5 more minutes, spooning mixture in pan over top. Spoon extra sauce on top and serve hot.
