  • 6 Hershey bars
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. chocolate syrup
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Melt Hershey bars.

    Cream oleo with sugar.

    Add 1 egg at a time, beating after each.

    Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to sugar mixture alternately with flour and salt.

    Add chocolate syrup, vanilla, melted Hershey bars and pecans.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

    Bake about 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
