Hershey Cocoa Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. hot water
  • dash of salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, salt and cocoa in a saucepan.

    Add enough water to make a paste, then add remainder.

    (Gets lumps out.)

    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Boil 3 minutes.

    Add vanilla.

    Makes 2 cups.
