- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup (white)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. flour (plain)
- 1 c. hickory nuts (can use pecans instead of hickory nuts)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Melt butter in saucepan.

3Add sugar and syrup, stirring well.

4Fold in eggs and flour.

5Add vanilla and nuts.

6Mix well.

7Pour in 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

8Bake at 325° for 45 or 50 minutes.
