- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. King syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. hickory nuts
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In medium size saucepan, heat butter or margarine over low heat until melted.

3Remove from heat. With whisk, beat in syrup, sugar, eggs and vanilla until blended.

4Put nuts in bottom of pie shell.

5Carefully pour liquid over nuts. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted near edge comes out clean.

6Cool on rack.
