Ingredients
- 3 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 3 c. whole wheat flour
- 4 c. unbleached flour
- 3 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 3/4 c. powdered milk
- 4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Combine yeast, water and honey.

2Let stand 5 minutes.

3Mix and Gradually add dry ingredients and oil.

4Blend and turn out on floured board, adding additional flour as needed.

5Knead thoroughly until dough is smooth and elastic.

6Place in a well-oiled bowl. Let rise until doubled.

7Punch dough down; fold over the edges and turn dough upside down.

8Let it rise another 20 minutes.

9Turn out on board.

10Shape into 2 loaves.

11Place in oiled pan.

12Let rise until double.

13Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes.
