- 2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Pecan halves
- Sifted powdered sugar
Directions

1Cream butter and gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

2Sift together flour and salt; add to creamed mixture.

3(Add more flour if needed to make dough easy to handle.) Shape dough into 3/4 inch balls; place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.

4Gently press a pecan half in the center of each.

5Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.

6Yields: 6 dozen.
