- 1 1/2 cups corn flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2Mix the corn flour and wheat flour with the baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

3Cream the shortening and butter until smooth, then add the sugar and beat until fluffy. Add the egg and beat until smooth.

4Slowly add the dry ingredients. Beat until the ingredients are mixed together.

5Knead by hand for 2 minutes. Stretch the dough with a rolling pin and cut out the cookies using a cookie cutter.

6Place on baking trays lined with parchment.

7Bake for 15 minutes. Take out from the oven when the edges are golden brown.

8For the sugar cover, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the cookies while still warm.
