  • 2 cans French-cut green beans, drained
  • 2 cans Shoepeg corn (white), drained*
  • 1 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • small box cheese Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 oz. pkg. slivered almonds

Directions

    Using a strainer bowl, drain green beans, corn and mushrooms. Chop green pepper, onion, and celery.

    Combine sour cream and shredded cheese.

    Blend with vegetables, put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Top with crushed cheese Ritz crackers, butter and almonds.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
