- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. chopped pecans
- 1 c. flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250°.

2Cream the butter with the sugar.

3Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

4Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and almond.

5Dredge fruit and nuts with 1 cup flour.

6Add to first mixture. Bake for 3 hours.

7Makes a large cake.
