- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. (8 oz.) diced candied pineapple
- 1 c. (8 oz.) red and green candied cherries
- 8 oz. chopped dates
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. whole hazelnuts
- 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.

3Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.

4Beat in egg until light.

5Mix in flour, vanilla, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

6Stir in fruit, nuts and chips.

7Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.

8Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until firm and lightly brown around edges.

9Remove to wire racks to cool.
