  • 2 Tbsp. white or dark rum
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. all fruit black cherry fruit spread
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 c. cold water
  • 2 c. finely chopped, fresh pineapple or canned, crushed pineapple, drained
  • juice of 1 lemon

Directions

    Combine rum, sugar and fruit spread in small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking until blended.

    Stir in cornstarch mixture.

    Simmer, whisking 30 seconds or until thickened and bubbly.

    Remove from heat; stir in pineapple and lime juice.

    Serve warm.
