  • 1 c. oleo (warmed to room temperature)
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour (plain)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • powdered sugar

    Cream butter in large bowl with electric mixer.

    Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

    Add vanilla.

    In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt.

    Sift in the flour and salt mixture.

    Add nuts.

    Form into balls about the size of a quarter.

    Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
