- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 (18 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. rum (80 proof)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan or 12-cup Bundt pan.

3Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan.

4Combine all ingredients until well mixed.

5Pour over nuts.

6Bake for 1 hour. Cool.

7Invert onto serving plate.

8Prick top of cake.
