- 1/2 head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. cooked rice
- salt
- 1 egg
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Cook cabbage in boiling water for 5 minutes.

2Cut up cabbage. Brown meat; drain.

3Mix with rice, egg, onion and salt.

4Mix tomato sauce and brown sugar.

5Place meat, cabbage and sauce in alternating layers in a casserole.

6Cover with foil.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour or longer.

8Uncover and brown top about 10 minutes.
