- 2 pkg. active dry yeast or 2 cakes yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
- 3 1/2 c. water (85~)
- 10 to 12 c. Robin Hood flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. soft shortening
Directions

1In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water; add remaining water, sugar, salt, shortening and several cups flour.

2Beat with spoon until smooth and batter falls from spoon in sheets.

3Mix in (by hand) enough flour until dough cleans the bowl.
