- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 chopped bell pepper
- 1 small onion
- 2 or 3 bay leaves
- 1 can dark red kidney beans
- 1 can whole tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cans tomato juice
- 1 or 2 packets chili mix
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 wiener (per person)
Directions

1Brown meat; then drain the grease from the meat.

2The next step you do is to add the bell pepper, onion and bay leaves until vegetables are tender.

3After the vegetables are tender, then add the remaining ingredients.

4Stir well.

5Simmer about 30 minutes on low heat.

6When the chili is almost done, add the wieners to the chili and let cook for about 10 to 15 minutes.
